I was willing to try something new and help steer the course of the Academy of Information Technology at my high school.

I was given the top sports award at my high school after leading my soccer team to a city championship.

I wrote and co-directed one act of our three-act senior play. Working with a cast of 85 students was both challenging and rewarding.
It taught me a lot about getting along with others.

As editor of my school yearbook, I received an outstanding leadership award for completing the yearbook before the deadline and within budget.

As captain, I led my wrestling team to its first ever Eastern League title.

I earned the Key Club’s Distinguished Service Award for demonstrating exemplary team spirit.

The Optimist Club honored me as a youth who has the potential for making a significant contribution to our community.

I volunteered with many organizations to fulfill my community service requirement.

I was honored by the San Diego Council of Administrative Women in Education for excellent leadership ability.
